MORE THAN A FARM SHOP - NOT JUST ANOTHER SUPERMARKET
Leading brand names and great value suppliers combine to make our grocery products as keenly priced as you will find.
Our fruit and vegetables are fresh from our producers or local markets daily. Our meats come from our friend, The Bearded Butcher who provides beautiful cuts with fantastic flavour. Our bread and cakes are locally baked daily with quality ingredients. And our household goods come from trusted brand names with a reputation for quality and value. We even have world champion bee-keeper Jim McNeil to supply local honey! To find out more about our Garden Centre stocks, please visit www.forestroadgardencentre.comThe business is owned by Steve Loveman, whose family has been involved in the wholesale fruit and veg markets for over 50 years.
We have recently altered the layout of the shop to present our fruit and vegetables in a much more customer-friendly way. We have replaced much of the traditional shelving with new, open-plan shelves that display our produce better and make safe distancing much easier. We hope you enjoy the changes.Throughout the rest of the shop, we’ve listened to your comments and have focussed on the most popular lines of goods whilst continually searching for great value offers as they become available to us. In response to customer demand, we now have a Butchery section run by our friend, The Bearded Butcher. He has his own dedicated corner of the shop and will be delighted to serve you with your favourite meats. We have extended the Garden Centre so that we can present a wider range whilst allowing customers the opportunity to shop safely and spend more time examining our wares. Work is now complete and the Garden Centre is fully operational.
Visit Santa in his Grotto: We’re converting the old Garden Centre into a Christmas Grotto and Santa will be here in December. Give your child the chance to meet and chat to him. Bring a camera and you can take a photo of your child with Santa.Craft Workshops: In the new Garden Centre we’ll be holding 3 workshops with Christmas in mind, but with practical use all year round. The workshops will be for Traditional Wreath Making, Contemporary Wreath Making and Foral Table Centrepiece making.Get more information and book online at www.forestfarmshopevents.com
